EVANGELISTS

In the past, whenever a pastor was "leading a revival" out of town, he was often refered to as an evangelist.

However, there is more to it than merely preaching some evangelistic messages. In fact, it is not uncommon to find Evangelists whose messages are validated by "signs and wonders".

Though I am not aquainted personally with the following ministry, their statement that is found at www.carm.org/evangelize.htm

is characteristic of a God called evangelist.

Evangelism is the command of the Lord Jesus to every Christian (Matt. 28:18-20). Whether you are outgoing and evangelistic or laid back and patient, you are called to be a fisher of men, not just a keeper of the aquarium. This is a good place to start.
