CHAPTER FOUR - Gates of Heaven

It is understood by some that there are geographical areas here on earth where there are stronger concentrations of satanic influence. Also, there are areas where the presence of God seems to be more easily felt. These places with a tenderness toward God, have been referred to as Gates of Heaven. It is in these locations where we can expect the next moves of God to first be felt.

Interestingly enough, Westlake, Louisiana seems to be a combination of the two. While there are casinos in nearby areas, there are none inside the city limits of Westlake. In response to the pleas of church leaders, the city chose not to allow a local riverboat casino to locate inside the city limits. Also, the city council has made it a point for the entire council to worship with each of the local churches during their individual Sunday services. The city government of Westlake has over the years taken a stand for Christian principles.

New Covenant Fellowship's mission given by God is to help to usher in the next "mighty move of God" for this area. This is being done in co-operation with other "spiritually aware" churches and Christian groups.

Other people in the area are emphasizing the importance of prayer and spiritual warfare. Rather than being characterized by the ministry of just a few individuals, the coming "move of God" will be more general in nature. Truly, "all who are willing" can be used in the next spiritual awakening.

Indeed, preparation is being made to usher into reality the fact of Westlake, Louisiana being a "Gate of Heaven". It is anticipated that the degree of God's influence in the area will reach unprecedented heights.
